Worldgenning Dwarf Fortress/Adventurer world
« on: May 31, 2011, 02:56:52 am »

I have a problem, if I want dwarves in a world I have to have a short history, but if there is a short history there are no human fortresses and therefore very few soldiers. How do I beat this?

No strange modding. Just increased megabeast caves and volcanoes. But thats just so I can sacrifice people in adventurer mode. Even with low megabeast caves the dwarves don't last long.

Why would you need dwarves in fortress mode unless you want a king? They trade/migrate/negotiate no matter if they are extinct or not

It's kind of a preference thing. Plus I need dwarves if I want to play a dwarven adventurer.

Turn off night creatures in advanced world gen, and or, have fewer civs.
