Mac bug

Cannot seem to use +/- when adding, subtracting or scrolling.  i tried changed the keys in init.txt, which did actually change what keys did the scrolling but it still did not work.  at this point i cannot make my dwarves do anything but mine, nor can i customize my party at the beginning at all.
plz help!  :)

Use the numpad +/-, available on MacBooks & MacBookPros with [fn].

I remapped +/- to [ ] and shift-+/- to shift [ ], and have been very happy  :).

I do not have a num pad on this wireless keyboard. so onto the next option:
howd u remap the number?  i changed the interface.txt one to [] but i dont think that is everything...

I'll pass on my map file when I'm home.  Warning, it does make changing skill levels in workshops difficult because the tool hint pushes the data off screen. HINT HINT TOADY  :).
