TaiYou place the food on the bed and hurry back
across the hall to the kitchen.
You watch as your Squax crawls over the fridge, shocking it frequently. The fridge isn't humming anymore, and the robot appears to be short circuited, indicated by the small plume of smoke rising from it.
You attempt to pick up the Squax and bring it back to Rani, but it chatters angrilly and lightly shocks you. It crawls up your back and attempts to get into your backpack.
ZeoxYou create a makeshift bag out of one of your spare shirts and pick up the beetle. The beetle panicks, and various burn holes appear over the shirt, though not large enough for the beetle to escape. You assume you won't be able to wear it again.
Your Squax approaches you and starts chippering, eyeing your backpack and sniffing the air.
AshYou attempt to dump your liquid wastes on the thug's shoes.
They didn't appreciate that.
They jump back, and both grab a dagger out of their pockets.
"You're going to pay, kid!" one of the thug grunts.
You try to appear as nonthreatening as possible, wallowing in front of them......
They're still angry.
RaniYou put the cell phone in your pocket.
Tai lays a plate of food on the bed and hurries out.
You decide you haven't ate in bed in too far long of a time, and do so.
