walk for armok's sake
« on: May 24, 2011, 10:06:29 pm »

so, just had a really FUN fight with goblins and a crosbow dwarf got a wounded leg and fell in my trench, now he won't even try to get out after i made him an exit, he's not even trying to rest, i look over him and it says no job, also it does'nt say he can't walk or anything, all he has is a bolt in his leg and a bruised foot, i ont want him to die of thirst

Set him aside a bed, make it his bedroom, even if you have a hospital. Only having dormitorys slow up recovering wounded.
For military orders, dwarves follow them to the letter. If you assigned it a kill order, remove it. If its a defend burrow, or station order, just remove the dwarf from that squad. Reassign later, after its treated

Should you fail to comply, strict !!disciplinary actions!! will be taken. Also, we feel we should remind you that one of the "criminals" on your list is the chief medical dwarf. If he ends up too badly injured to do his job, you will be fired. Out of a magma cannon.
Sincerely,
The Administration
