Giant desert scorpions.

Just caught a GCS lately, me and my new fortress who is FILLED with giant war honey badgers and giant war jaguars.

GCS, I have like 10 of them now, 3 are working as slaves shooting web.

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!

My last fort had a rutherer breeding program. Excellent source of meat, as sometimes they give birth to triplets. You can't train war rutherers I think, but the tame rutherers were formidable enough.

I had 4 of them chained at all times in the narrow passageway that led to the caverns, and they would act as a filter for forgotten beasts from below, killing most. Only one time a forgotten beast managed to kill all 4 and proceed to my fortress, a sauropod made out of copper.
