Low-traffic area bug.
« on: April 09, 2008, 06:59:00 pm »

I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like this, but I marked my wells "low-traffic" to avoid dwarves ending up walking there randomly.

I had a miner injured in cave-in and the dwarves systematically refused to bring any water or food to him, even if they didn't have any job to do and the dwarf was marked "dehydrated" and "starving". After changing the wells to "normal traffic" one dwarf instantly rushed to help.

I tried activating and deactivating the injured dwarf and various other things, but none of them seemed to help.

Huh.  Can people reproduce this?  Does it prevent dwarves from performing any other jobs?  That might be the best bug ever if it does...

It could just be coincidence. I had a fort where it seemed like if I made a bucket, neglected dwarves would instantly get fed/watered. But they'd be ignored and die if I didn't make a bucket. That has yet to work in any other forts.
