So you can designate a young tower-cap for detailing?  Or was it an old detailing job that was there when the tower-cap began to grow?

I had this when I was building channels. I built a segment over a young tower-cap and it came out green, similar to the screenshot. However, once lava was sent through it and emptied, the channel tile had completely disappeared.

Had to rebuild it again, but it worked perfectly.

this happens any time i detail a plant.

i dont think (could be wrong here) that you can designate a plant-tile for detailing, but if you designate a muddy stone floor and then a plant grows on it... you end up with grass every time.  and a green + symbol.

hell, i always thought it was a feature, like the dwarfs were mowing the lawn or something.

Can we make this intentional (and a designation)?  I'd love to build gardens WITH plants.  :)

I almost had that going in one fortified bunker guarding the main river bridge. Because of the fortifications, the room got flooded with each river flood. And I kept trying to detail the spaces before stuff grew in them, but instead I got several spaces of grass instead. It looked great tho, so I liked it. Would be nice to do some room floors like that!

And, come to think of it, I never heard a dwarf complain about sleeping on grass! Could be handy on treeless maps, where you wont have beds for a long time. OK, not the same as a bed, but not as bad as mud or rock, and wont get rained or snowed on.
