I attempted to trade with humans at the trade depot, and the game crashes, but only under specific circumstances:

I have a large number of goods at the depot ready to trade, including a seed barrel with both seeds inside, and bags full of seeds.  If I try to trade, the game crashes.  I did this three times with the same result.  So I reloaded the game and undesignated the seed barrel.  I did this twice, and the game did not crash at all.

I'm guessing that the trade depot, for some reason, either cannot handle nested containers, or the very large number of objects within one container.

Toady I have a save file if you would like me to email it to you.
