Eh, hell doesn't sound so bad. At least it's assumed to have heating, and all the cool people go there in a sense.

Warning: Not trying to start a debate, just random bible-related response to do with hell's portrayal, which is arguably quite varied from book to book. I have not read all of the bible, just some of it, and am an atheist. I can read something I don't agree with, and regularly do with books of philosophy and the like.

At least we can safely right Lovecraft's work off as fiction ;D We'd need God to help us if Cthulhu ever awoke, and I doubt the blind and dump Azathoth would be of much help ^^

I doubt god would be either if he was the type of being to let Cthulu awaken.

And with a mighty leap, the evil Conservative flies through the window, escaping our heroes once again!
Because the solution to not being able to control your dakka is MOAR DAKKA.

That's it. We've finally crossed over and become the nation of Da Orky Boyz.

Does it even describe Hell in the Bible?

Now that I think about it, the Norse Ragnarök sounds pretty awesome. What with the giant wolf devouring the sun and all...

Spoiler: lots of bible quotes (click to show/hide)
Those quotes seem to be pretty straightforward in saying that hell is a place of eternal torment (and fire), but some modern christians think that its simply a place where you are cut off from god.
Question: If god isn't present in hell, how can he be called omnipresent?
