[33f] Permanent Lake Evaporation
« on: December 20, 2007, 04:41:00 pm »

Probably already been brought to attention before, but just in case it hasn't...

Start in an area with lots of small lakes. Then summer hits. They all evaporate. Which, I guess is okay, except that two years later, they have never refilled. Of course, this doesn't really pose any practical problems. Just. Weird.

Documented many times, check the bug listings if you're ever unsure of whether something has been brought to attention or not.

If you want a work around, designate those lakes as pools and designate a river as a water source.  Make sure you have a few buckets and your dwarves will refill those lakes over time ^_^

Not sure why you'd do that though, except to give idle dwarves something to do.
