I managed to trap some fish...

So let me start off with some background info. I managed to cage a school of bat rays and glasseyes in the ocean by trapping them in walls. They are in pure ocean water, just with obsidian walls arounds them. The glasseyes and bat rays are seperated. If I leave them be, will they breed over time or just swim around in their new aquarium?

They won't breed unless you tame them.

You go into the raws and give them the [PET] tag. Then they can breed in the wild. It's a bug - unless you can tame it, it won't breed.
