Surpass art defacement?

When you have an engraved tile and then construct a upward stairway on it and remove it, the engravement is gone and the tile counts as 'rough'. The engraver doesn't mind at all that the engravement is gone. And when you designate the rough tile for smoothing, it skips being smoothed and becomes engraved again in one step.

Weird. It's not like it's causing any major problems, in fact, it's even useful for when you want to channel somewhere where you already engraved, but I thought I'd report it anyway.

Now that's a neat workaround. Cool!
