Say, does anyone have the seeds from Cacame's world...

...because I think it would be useful for bugtesting.
Remember the suspicious zombies a couple weeks ago?

"Hey, Urist, has it occurred to you that Cacame has lived a lot longer than any dwarf should?"
I really don't want future elf kings driven off into the wilderness by suspicious dwarves. Unless the elf king is a necromancer, of course.

Doesn't the underlying mechanics of worldgen changes a bit between each versions? That'd make it difficult to set things up properly. However I've seen frequent enough reports of goblin and elf rulers of dwarves from others.

You can't regen worlds from 40d in teh new version.  The entire structure of the world has changed.  Old features are gone and new ones exist.

Even if you could gen a world with a Cacame-like ruler of the dwarves, the bug wouldn't effect him.  Elves are naturally immortal so it wouldn't be unnatural for him to live for many years.

You need to make said elf leather into the most amazing work of art.  Embed it with every kind of gem you have, stud it with metals, and sew images into it.  Erect a shrine outside your fort with that in the center.  Let the elves know that you view their very skin as naught more but a medium for your dwarves to work on.

And Cacame wouldn't flee the mountainhomes. The dwarves would flee from Cacame.
