[33f] Hatches with supports under them behave as if unsu
« on: December 18, 2007, 07:00:00 pm »

While constructing my goblin-bone-and-item delivery service, I found two bizarre things with hatches, and one other minor thing:

1. Despite having supports on the level underneath where the hatches go, the hatches cannot be built if there are no adjacent floor or wall tiles.
2. If we build a floor tile to allow hatches, and then we build the hatches, and then we remove the floor tile, the hatches all vanish and anyone standing on them falls to their doom, despite there being supports underneath the hatches.
3. Dwarves will happily stand on a floor hatch over open space while removing the only floor tile which supports said floor hatch.
