I see. Thanks! This time I submerged myself in the modding guides from the wiki, and with that, and this topic, I think I'm beginning to get the handle of it. I'm thinking of doing a playable dying giant civilization. Let's hope it turns out alright! I really, REALLY want to wander the hills with my bloody, brutal giant.

And it will, if I manage to do it! I'm making some progress about the whole giant civilization thing. Now they actually existed, but it seems that all giant settlements have followed a common patron: all starved to death. Maybe it's because they only become baby snatchers? Oh well, time for further experimenting!

EDIT: oww yeah, now I can actually pick up the giant civilization. I'm wandering about with one right now, went to a cave, fought and killed a cyclops, slammed a duck into a tree. You know, giant stuff. It's strange that I have cordial relationships with human civilizations, maybe I look into it later.

Can you create actual Civ's with Civ Forge mod? Or you need something else for that?

all you need is the modding section of the wiki and notepad.

Civ Forge is just a mod with lots of stuff similar to genesis. The name is somewhat misleading. It's not a utility to help you create civilizations.

The 'Forge' part comes in because you mix and match which pre-built custom civs you add to the game.

The only similar stuff is "Ironworks" which comes from the CivForge :). Everything else is pretty different and we developed them without discussing matters, so both mods have quite a different experience.
