Dead dwarf - odd reason

I peeked in on my fort just now and a dwarf has died.

"Farmer has died after colliding with an obstacle."

His corpse is at the bottom of a 7-story tall staircase (using up-down stairs).  Did he slip and fall?

Peeked in you say?  You could have made him lose his footing by tabbing back in too aggressively.  Unless of course you run windowed, in which case a careless mouse gesture whilst browsing the wiki could be to blame.  Either way there's blood on your HIDs.

LOL... nice.

Anyway, there were no open gaps in the floor.  Just a 3x3 column of up/down stairs for seven stories and his corpse at the bottom.  I guess we'll never know.  :O
