Shoot First - Co-op Action Roguelike
« on: May 13, 2011, 04:21:20 am »

I was going to post in the old thread but it was pretty weak and it was over 120 days old.. Anyway. I feel this game highly is under-rated and over-looked. I have so much fun with this game but my biggest wish is continued development or for a source code release because the game engine has so many possibilities. Is there anyone else that is at least semi obsessed with this game??

...the video doesn't do it justice, you should give it a spin, gamepad recommended

I had a blast playing this when it was originally released. I'd really like to see continued support for it or as you say a source release.

Looks quite neat. Is it online or hotseat co-op?

It's hotseat only but co-op is soooo fun. Plus the game gets really hard later on and if you have a buddy along it sure does help. The highest level I've made it to was 9 or 10. I think the developer makes so many projects that once a game is done he's already moved on but mod support could really bring this game to a whole new level.

I had a blast with this, but there was an annoyance that kept me from playing it more. It seems like when you shoot a lot of bullets, the game lags either from the bullets or from the explosion of the bullets as they hit something.
