Wait, wait, herped then derped. I am getting my artifacts mixed up. The burning one is my tower-cap bracelet, not my tetrahedrite one.

Artifact?
If the bracelet is an artifact, it is indestructlble, and will never burn down to nothing. This means you're going to have to put it out yourself.

You just won a "magic torch of everlasting dragon fire". Pretty magic item, would fit nicely on an altar  ^^

While walling off the area, my mason trapped himself inside [derp] on top of the magic item. He has since burned into NOTHING. Not even a corpse left.

Dem damn dwarves, man. Dem damn dwarves.

"And so the sacrifices have begun. PRAISE ARMOK!"

(Nice execution method, by the way : Having the dwarf wall himself with the magic torch, or pitting prisonners into the fire!)

I have two refuse piles, one inside and one outside. The dragon was carted outside to be stored. And he never breathed fire. He popped out of my pit and my speardwarf skewered his brain in two hits.
Which means your speardwarf touched its blood, which may have been superheated even without ever breathing fire. Ah well, seems you now have a !!FUN!! artifact to engineer pitfall executions with.

Congrats, Psieye. This is the first time I've seen a derailed thread get put back on the rails.
