Wonderful new problem involving text

Updated my DF to the newest version and now my text runs right off the edge of the window so I can't read anyone's full name/occupation/species, anything. I'm using the normal curses fonts and mayday graphics.

as you can see the text just runs right off the menu and now I've found a new problem- when I mousewheel in everything becomes stretched. Lol would be nice to zoom in that far if it didn't look like garbage, in fact the reason I joined this forum earlier was *because* I was trying to get DF to zoom in like that in the first place  ::) (like that but without the stretching of course)

Thats normal. Atleast I thought so. I can generally figure out what it says on my own, but if I can't then I just hit tab twice and it makes that menu huge and allows me to read it.

Well normal or not It never used to do that before or even an hour ago, anyone have a way to fix this?

Switch to a smaller tileset? Not actually sure if that would work tho.

Dying (ceasing to be alive) is also not a Moodable skill. Even totally unskilled Dwarves seem to do it correctly.

I have the same issue, and always have, just because the names are too long for the screen. But right, as suggested, it might have to do with your tileset. Maybe your previous one (?) dealt with it. Or maybe you had a few settings that were different in your old .init than your new .init
