I doubt it would cancel out. I think the most likely scenario at this point is that he's going to fall over. If he lifts one leg the other one will fall.
Like you'd have to in order to get into that position in the first place, you'd have to put equal force on the centre of gravity.
(I suspect, if he bends his legs ready to jump, he'd probably lose balance before actually lifting off from the jump.)
