unreachable Bat

Not quite sure if it is a bug, but it seems weird to me anyway.

The normal:
I have (had?) some problems with a giant bat, the usual kind.

I had some before, but this time around i have quite a few crossbow dwarfs, so i send them on a patrol path towards the bat that is having the time of its life decimating the local mountain goat population.

Having fun, however is a exhausting, so both the bat and his latest pray are exhausted, and fall unconcious.

Now the bat floats on air, unconcious but unharmed, exactly on top of the goat, unconcious but severely wounded, but that can be explained away as being stuck on the horns of the goat    ;)

What is weird is that my marksdwarfs were patroling around the the bat/goat combo, with "harass dangorous wildlife" and  "chase opponents" but ignored the bat altogether.  (the goat was ignored too, but i guessed that is because it is not "dangerous").

Until they saw the ironmen 3 z levels lower, those they peppered with bolts.

So possible bug:
a giant Bat, known killer, 1 Z level higher, is ignored (invisible)

You say he's unconscious?  That may be it.  It's still weird that he'd stay in the air while knocked out, but the lack of consciousness seems to affect the targeting of a creature at times.  Wait until he wakes up.
