It has begun! Somebody finally has a fell mood. I want to upload the save as it has just started, upon request, but there is noting in the saved data folder. Any idea where else it might be?

If it matters at all, the save folder has "current" and "world 1". "World 1" has exactly that in it, but the "Current" folder is empty. I have not done any auto-saving.

The world folder is the one you want. It is what contains the save data, in my experience! You do have the planepacked glitch set up, correct?

Everything is set up except that noone has been placed into the burrow yet. The burrow includes everything except the workshops.

Well, this is a letdown. He killed a single dwarf, dragged it to the shop, then just sits there.

edit: Tried a few more times. The most recent attempt he didn't even bring the corpse back to the shop.

edit 2: turns out the corpse wasn't in the burrow. Trying once more.

edit 3: Nope, nothing.

Conclusion: The planepacked glitch does not work with a fell mood.

And now that I know how it works, I never have to soil my hands with this again.

Extended the burrow to include the workshop and he created:

Soshoshest    Jackalsmall    A dwarf bone mask
This is a dwarf bone mask. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is decorated with dwarf bone.          worth 2040 dorfbucks.

Anyone else get the feeling it's just a dwarf skull with strings attached?

(FYI, the "current" save folder is only used during world generation and thus probably only ever contains partially generated world data. It is empty when no world generation is in progress, in my experience anyway.)

One result does not a conclusion make. Try again. Also, we didn't cover macabre moods, did we?

I envy you your artifact, though not your fort. Foreign-type armor and weapons are probably my favorite artifacts to get. I'm always thrilled when the local goblin civ wears iron masks because it means that I can kit my military out in them. :D

It would make him look like a warhammer 40k space marine chaplain.

Give whatever dorf wears the mask a 2H maul.

Christ, are you dwarves or are you elves? If you think Hell has too many demons, then youkill them till the population reaches an acceptable number.
Dwarf Fortress: So horrifying the players would rather talk about nice things, like Warhammer 40k.
