NEED HELP WITH TILESET!!!!

I desperately need help with installing a decent tileset for df. Everytime I do, it either crashes, or says that I need to put the index file in some other folder. I've tried that, and it doesn't work. Do I need a previous version!? I'm trying to dl may green. Please help!

If you're downloading the complete packages (recommended), you shouldn't need to do anything other than unzip the files to a directory. If you're downloading the current Mayday tileset and trying to apply it to a downloaded version of DF...you'll have issues, because Mayday isn't officially up to date with .31.25, last I checked.

So how do I fix that? get a old df version? where would I find one? :-\
