For the Empire! (D&D 3.5)
« on: April 11, 2011, 01:56:10 pm »

I'm interested in Illithids people. Can I get a call of interest from those interested in a survival style game composed of Illithid PC's?
Thinking of setting it in the underdark, but I'd like to check and see if there's an interest in a campaign like this.

Using this THIS Illithid here....

Please ignore fluff, You'll get a backstory once we start up.

I'm GMT, so any evening times on most days are fine by me.

Maptools and Hamachi by the way.

Well once I figure out if people want to play, I can organize around them.

Well, I have almost no chance of the times working out for me, but if they do I will join.

The Mind Flayer you linked to is pretty over powered, so make sure to take that into account when making encounters.

Edit: The Telepathy power directly contradicts itself as well, so you will need to say what that does.

The Idea is for the players to drive the story. and as a result, go on a rampage, and get curbstomped by adventurers

Will we be in the same place through the campaign, or will we be travelling around ?

Alright, I'll join up.

I think I'll even be something other than a bard, this time! That is, once that is possible.

Players choice. If you guys wanna travel, we travel. you wanna fortify your cave, and slowly dig upwards? we do that, and build an epic cave castle. you wanna sit around and debate who's tentacles are longest? Go for it. D&D for me, is like a video game with the best engine imaginable. no barriers, no walls, just you guys, and what you want to do. Also, really cool dice.

We should try to take over the world. Just saying.

Call a vote between the party, they say yes, we do it. I like seeing what happens if you just let people have fun, and don't bring a pre built plot into it. you build a plot around the players.

I think we should find a cave of some sorts near a town, and build up abit then raid the town for more supplies then we can move to a mountain, and make a castle hopefully bringing NPCs to us then we take over the world.
