Starting Points?
« on: April 08, 2011, 10:18:06 am »

Well, Whenever i go into the "plan adventure" screen i am only presented with around 75 available point to use.
I read in some tutorial that you start with 2,000 points... is my starting location affecting my available point?
It is very hard to embark with only 1 miner lol

P.S: I am a complete beginner to this fantastic game and only know the basics, Thanks for any help  :)

When you elect to plan carefully, you get a lot of equipment preselected. If you press TAB (I think) from the dwarf-screen, you'll get to the equipment screen where you will already have a lot of stuff. Remove all of that and you'll have your full amount of points.

Sorry for double post, but i have an "Outpost Liaison" following my leader around and i don't know what he wants.
How can i make my leader stop and talk to him? its getting kinda annoying.

He wants to discuss trade options. Just cancel your leader's tasks and they'll eventually talk.

Disabling all the leader's job permissions seems to work. Course sometimes he goes on a sleep, eat, drink, break train that last a while, but he will get to it eventually.

Burning and raping the land is recreational. Where business is concerned, though, sustainability is the name of the game.
