Exploding Nobles

I would like to mod the game so that all nobles that can make mandates are also promoted into a caste whose internal organs are highly explosive. How possible is this?

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

Not possible, you can't change castes on the fly. Dwarf, and any other creature, is stuck with the caste they have been born in.

Mod mandates out of nobles instead.

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.

This would be a really bad idea anyway.

The mayor can make mandates, and is replaced soon after he is killed. So your fort would just chain-explode 1 by 1 as they elected the next victim. Since popular dwarves have a better chance of becoming mayor, it would also likely cause a tantrum spiral rather quickly. So you'd have a massive tantrum spiral with dwarves randomly exploding left and right.

..... actually that sounds pretty !!fun!!
