Once upon a time, a player named Jocan hacked an executable named Dwarf Forteress.exe with some preset embark dwarf. Sadly as the time flew by the wondrous Community couldnt use it anymore all due to a machiavelous god named TOADY.

Im back for this version, simply download and extract to your DF installation folder and pick the right exe for the embark size you want.

This seems to be a good idea for those who can't use cheatengine to edit the memory or want a constant number of dwarves.

Also many utilities do it without hacking exe .

Id rather use the exe honestly, that way I can just fire up DF and start a fort.

i tried using the cheat engine solution with the new adress found by another member in the embark size thread but the problem with vista and higher is the ALSR memory supposly protection cant prevent some tool to change a specific memory adress due to the ram randomisation anyway, I made the exe so even the less-techy can use them, simply drag drop fire up.

I meant dfhack/dfusion. Cheat engine is... well, not designed for this task .
