After a new mayor was elected, the old mayor kept his title of 'Mayor'. Is this supposed to happen?

Nah, it's supposed to remove it, and create a little history event and stuff.  I guess it failed to do some part of that.

I've had this happen to two of my dwarves so far. Note: Every dwarf (and I do mean every) in my fort has a custom title. So, I could only tell if someone kept the Mayor title by deleting their custom title in the title-setting screen to see what it changes back to. Maybe that's the cause of the bug, maybe not - Gau might be able to say, if his didn't have a custom title. Seeing that they kept the noble name color is easier, of course.

I can provide a bit more detail on it:
So far in my fort, whenever a new mayor is elected, the previous one has retained the noble name color and the Mayor title. I've also seen one of them cancel a mandate after someone else had replaced him as Mayor. They don't show up on the noble screen, though. Furthermore, there was no message about the Mayor no longer being a mayor (Though I don't know if there's supposed to be, or if the history event would just show up in adventurer or legends mode or something?), but there was a message about the new mayor being elected.

I wasn't using custom titles. Now I have to, otherwise i have like 4 different dwarves all called "mayor"
