Any mods out there for organizing all this information?
« on: March 28, 2011, 08:12:00 pm »

Like, for example, a mod that allows me to scroll through a list of dwarfs, with their corresponding skills on the other side of the screen. Maybe even just a rating mod that puts dwarfs in a list according to what skill you're looking for in a dwarf?

Even with a pop cap of 100, that is still A LOT of people to run through.

I've tried labeling dwarven profession names right when they show up...but some of them change quickly in skill, and the other tend to have novice "everything". I don't mind micro managing the game, but I'm sometimes spending hours on just getting their professions in order.

God forbid I choose to add a beekeeper to the mix, 5 years into the fort, like I did just now.

109 dwarves to scroll through.

Oh...my...god.

I thought it was a cheat program for raising skills and never even bothered to look at it.

Thank you!

I would donate *MONEY* for an XMLRPC or other API that would allow something like Dwarf Therapist to work well under Mac OS X. I'm too scared to even try it because I know I'd become addicted.

When my financial aid checks start rolling in next semester, I'll have some free cash to spend.

You can bet your ass that DF is getting some of it.

I don't own a mac, but some of my classes at school are within Mac laboratories.

Needless to say, playing Dwarf Fortress without Therapist is pretty hard. I wish it worked on OSX too.

Yea, I basically switched from using my mac laptop to my windows laptop just so I could use therapist. I wish more DT functions were in the game itself, but as far as that goes I'm more worried about FPS....
