We are everydwarf. How about you? Anyone got anything better than a plain old dwarf? Maybe a dwarf beating an elf to death with three circles? An image of waves, drowning an elf? Anything good?

My government is called the guilds of ruling. The symbol is two crowns.

Fitting.

Yes, mother ****ing walruses stormed in through my well room, fatally gored my expedition leader, and danced off into the frosty tundra to sing happy walrus songs about oysters.

I have a Forgotten Beast in one of my forts. Which one, who knows?

Well if you remove the [MULTIPLE_LITTER_RARE] tag from dwarves I think they have like 2-4 children each time they give birth. And if you get enough mothers up on the pillars you can probably get a good waterfall going.
Ashes are technically fire-safe.

My current civ has two squares as their symbol.

How inspiring.

In order to improve the universe's frame rate, we must all throw rocks into volcanoes and then do absolutely nothing, worldwide, for a week, to take pressure off pathfinding.
or maybe throw them into the large hadron collider to atom-smash them instead.
Not to mention to throw all available animals into tiny pits.

My government's symbol is a palm tree. Given that we're in the middle of a desert, it's sort of fitting.

Socks inspire the same sort of emotions in dwarfs that Helen of Troy inspired in the Achaean Greeks. Although it is said that Helen's face launched a thousand ships, socks have surely launched a million ultimately-fatal Store Owned Item tasks.

I once had a pretty successful fortress called Metalseal (seal, as the emblem, not the animal), founded by the Secretive Merchants in a tropical shrubland. To go with the name, i decided that i would have made the exterior look literally like a giant metal seal on the ground (meant perhaps to isolate the cave denizens underground), and i would have built an image of the symbol of the local government on top.

Which, through engravings, i found out to be ... a crutch.

Not that bad, since they are very useful instruments, but i wasn't really expecting it.

grey gibbons. which is doubly annoying as i find myself checking each and every "g" engraved hoping its about one of the hundreds of gobbos my grunts have dispatched.
