[38b windows] Crash on fey mood

Game just crashed on me, and the last item in gamelog.txt is "Kadol Deg‰lilush, Craftsdwarf withdraws from society...". I'm guessing it's not coincidence.

There is also an errorlog.txt in the main DF folder. I'd check that out too.

There isn't one in mine. This happened right after a clean install of the new version, so maybe mine hasn't been created yet?

Any saves or leads on this?  I haven't had problems making artifacts during testing lately.

If it's fairly close to when the crash happened I can leave it running for a bit, anyway.

Probably related - I've had the game hang up (first time that happened to me), and checking the gamelog hinted a glassmaker entering a fey mood as the last event (even though that one didn't get displayed in-game anymore)

All right, I've downloaded it, and I'll just start up a bunch of moods and see if I can get it to break at some point.

Made the entire population have moods a couple of times, with no success.  I guess we'll have to wait on this one.

I can confirm this. In my new fort I have many apprentice glassmakers and twice in this season I have had my game freeze on me. My gamelog says:

`Glass' Domasurmim, Peasant cancels Collect Sand: Taken by mood.
`Glass' Domasurmim, Peasant withdraws from society...
*** STARTING NEW GAME ***
** Loading Fortress **
...
`Glass' Ceroldural, Glassmaker cancels Collect Sand: Taken by mood.
`Glass' Ceroldural, Glassmaker is taken by a fey mood!

I even have a similar game freeze in my previous fort and guess what:

Udib Tholdeler, Glassmaker cancels Collect Sand: Taken by mood.
Udib Tholdeler, Glassmaker has been possessed!
*** STARTING NEW GAME ***
** Loading Fortress

I'm using 38c with no mods and only minor changes to the init file.

Update:

`Glass' Ceroldural, Glassmaker cancels Construct green glass Blocks: Taken by mood.
`Glass' Ceroldural, Glassmaker withdraws from society...

This time it did not freeze. Maybe the problem lies with the cancellation of the collect sand task?
