I start to focus on a megaproject, and then the dwarves go apeshit at me for not making beer. I want to copy my DF files into a new folder, which I can mod to help me on megaprojects. Any suggestions on how to make them needless drones?

If you want your megaproject done super-fast you could also add [SPEED:0].

Where do I find the raws? I'm looking for them in creature_standard.txt but I can't find them. And what do I change [ALCOHOL_DEPENDENT] to?

[ALCOHOL_DEPENDENT] means they get a bad mood from drinking water.  If you remove it, they'll use a well or river very happily.

To make them not eat, drink, etc. just open creature_standard, and the first item should be [CREATURE:DWARF].  Add the previously said tokens anywhere in the creature's code block.

Well, almost.  If you stick it under the [CASTE] section, it will only apply to that group.  But yes, that should work fine.

I never do anyways.  Put one person on herbalist, grab some strawberries, start an above-ground farm and still.  I can get it running pretty well within the first season.

OH THE HORROR!!! I MADE MY DWARVES TUNNEL INTO THE VOLCAN!!! I am now trapped on a small hill surrounded by magma. Even with mindless automatons this will be !!!FUN!!!. Wish me luck!
