Random wiki Bedroom Designs article question

What are the gray rooms next to the Barracks and Dining room on this image's design model?

Also I'm assuming those are chains attached to the gold statues or something for the zoo it mentions, what about across from the chain in the hallways for the bedrooms?

I think the idea is to give a rough appearance, you can put whatever you want really and fill up the space as you will.

I guess you could use those for nobles or something. Or as stockpiles. Anything you want, really.

Oh another thing, where the chains are attached, what are the icons representing I guess the cage doors. Would they be like, an iron grate or some such?

The plus sign-type things (+) are doors; on one side of the chains are statues, the other cages. The article says the cages can be replaced with statues to create a true sort of "cell", since statues block movement but not sight.
