War!

How I do cause wars between civilizations or participate in those wars? I have attacked some villages and butchered few people, but all the civilizations get hostile to me. So is it possible to cause a war, if so how?

You can cause something called a loyalty cascade if you do it right. You have to be a part of a civilization and attack someone who is a part of that same civilization. Doing this will occasionally cause a bug that makes everyone start killing each other. Starting actual wars, however, cannot be started in game, only in worldgen.
