Glacier Melting

This was in adventure mode.

One time I was on a glacier map, then all of the sudden, ALL of the ice melted instantanously.

Luckly I was able to get to a island of a single tile mud so I wouldn't drown.

 

He eventually froze to death, but the water didn't freeze.

this is actualy already on the list of reported bugs.


neat looking though

i managed to do it on my fortress....

....dwarf axeman, firebereathing, set to harrass dangerous animals, and several of those aforesaid animals is a deadly combination

It's not considered a bug if it involves dwarves that you modified to breathe fire.

i know, but still it was funny, especially when the dwarf realised what he ahad done and tried to rush inside, unfortunately the ice had melted so error messages kept appearing

I was stranded on a single tile of mud recently, too. I kept eating mud and drinking the water around my little island until I went melencholy. This alowed me to swim from mud tile to mud tile until I left the map.

Maybe you should have listened to the voice that told you do build an ark and get a pair of each animal in the world(not elephants, they arenīt animals, just pure evil).
