(Day 1)
We arrived at the location of our new home, and the area looked perfect. A couple of frozen solid ponds sat nearby our wagon. The air smelled of rotten dog meat, on the way we passed dog carcasses although this was a set back we knew we could use the bones for bone crossbows. We started scouting the area out when I stumbled onto a overgrown stone door in the side of the hill under a overhang. After a few attempts at opening the door I succeeded. At first glance I saw a old dusty hallway. After spending a few hours in the newly discovered building I returned to the wagon to report what i found. Apparently the others found furniture and raw materials, it was all piled up in the wagon. 3 Hours later we moved into the building which we now call a fortress, due to its construction style. After a hard day of exploring our new home i relaxed in a bedroom that i claimed.

(Day 2)
After we cleaned up the animal bones all over the fortress, I went over to the one of the largest rooms in the fortress. There I discovered workshops of all kinds and stairs to another room the same size full of a few forges and more workshops. After marking a map that Ludsoe shoved into my hands returned to the upper floor and opened the door to a huge room full of materials of all kinds. I marked this room on the map as the storage area. Later i was exploring a room full of empty coffins, until i stumbled onto a closed coffin with "This is the resting place of #Brandy# The farmer. Who was this dwarf? How did she die?

(Day 3)
Ive been spelunking into the deep shaft on the fortress. Which i presume is a mining shaft. I may be the first to say this but I'm glad that Ludsoe is mapping this place out, its huge! At the deepest the mining shaft breaches 3 layers of rare gems. After exploring for a few hours I return to the main level of the fortress to see that Ludsoe has stated himself as manager and ordered everyone to dig out the walls and replace them with siltstone that's been cluttering up the place.

(Ill skip ahead a few months because its pretty much just rebuilding the fortress to its former glory)
(Month 6)
Reconstruction has been slow lately. Lately we've been expanding the hydro containment tank when Vucar Rigothemal our best miner was tunneling a pump shaft when the ground below her crumbled and see fell 4 floors and got stranded on a isolated ledge in the unfinished part of the pipeline. We were lucky to save her a day later when Rovod saw her while checking on the pipeline project, we built a small bridge to her and dragged he to a bed. Luckily we were able to feed her and give her water before its was late. Luckily we will be still able to continue the pipeline with all these newcomers. I also feel compelled to write down that both the jewelers we had felt compelled to work on side projects that are totally unneeded, using valuable gems.
