how do i fined sand?

wen on embark it only shows 5 things on in the world clay, flux stone, deep metal, vary deep soil  and sum times aquifer

were did it showing me i got Dolomite go?

It went to 31.18 and got lost. It'll find it's way back...maybe.

Also, sand should be present as 'sand' or maybe 'soil'. I really think it's 'sand' though.

The embark screen doesn't list sand at all right now. The only way to guarentee you have sand is to embark on a sand desert biome. Otherwise, it's just luck that one of your soil layers is sand.

James, do not worry. Sand can be bought from traders, and you get a quite cheap bag

Also, sand only costs one point on embark.
