When you click Bay12Games' "Donate" button you are taken to a PayPal site where you can set up a donation to Toady. But at that site you can only donate money as USD. The money in my bank account are SEK (Swedish Kronor). If I enter an amount of USD to donate, will PayPal take the same value in SEK from my account and convert it to USD? Or do I have to do it another way?

I looked at PayPal's FAQ but couldn't find an answer. Can someone help me, please?

Digital things like this always just list whatever currency, and can be paid in anything. Just like if you were to use a Swedish credit card in the US.

Your question is a bit fussy, but just to be clear if you input say, 10 USD, your bank account will be charged with however many SEK is 'equivalent' to 10 USD, should be about 6.3 SEK/USD, plus whatever fee your bank charges for the currency exchange part of the whole affair.  So don't input $100 and expect it to charge just 100 SEK, that would leave you with a nasty surprise.

Also google can be very helpful here, try to google for '10 usd to sek' for example.

Toady needs to get out of US dollars. That currency is becoming inflated.

In a foreign exchange context it is called depreciated.

USD being worthless is good for Toady, that way he gets much more bang for his donated international bucks.
