??? I thought we were each going to play a different adventurer, get killed and post the adventure log here at first, creating a world with the worst adventurer ever. I'd join that.

when I saw bloodline I pictured go through adventure mode retire then move adventure into fort mode to give birth to a child then body swap to the child/baby(what ever) and pass the game to the next person? the next player has to live through the child until age of adult hood and settle down. hopefully in the same player fort their mother(first player) was in. the use of egg laying and replacing the intelligent tag with can speak during the breeding process will allow it easier to give birth with out heavy need of Utilities(you still need Dfusion to body swap into the child)

I change my vote. I say the adventurers be batmen. Then I can sign everything involving it "I AM THE NIGHT!"

then wouldnt that make it not so much an adventurer succession game? just a world succession game at that point.... if you start a new one every time a hero dies, wouldnt it loose the charm of a succession game? you werent given the character the first player had

the only thing you would share with the others would be the world...

Plus you don't get the inherent humor of one individual suffering madly violent changes in mood, thoughts and goals at a whim.

we could just mod an adventurer race to lay eggs and have little intelligence to by past the relationship coding on the eggs, (embark with them in the area place nest and spend 2 seasons to hatch them) and the player must survive and protect his/her daughters/sons for years in the abandon embark site protecting their young-in's from bandits and Nightcreatures until either all the children are dead or they successfully raise them into adulthood and can go out into the world.
