my mod lets you play as a goblin!

I made a little mod that adds goblins to adventure and fortress mode, elves in fortress mode and humans in fortress mode.
just replace everything in your raw>>objects>>entity_default.txt with this: http://www.mediafire.com/?5l7xbp1sy5w5rue
*note you will need to generate a new world.
if you like it or have any problems please post but please be nice this is my first very first mod ;).
*edit* oh and if you guys want any other civs added it wont be to hard so just ask. I'm not good Enough to make new civs yet but any existing ones I can add. Who wants to play as hfs?

Does it add the proper items and workshops needed or just [CIV_CONTROLLABLE]?

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

just Civ Controllable and Individual Controllable. I figured if I was going to sneak into a village at night and cut off individual body parts and gouge out eyes I mind as well do it as a goblin :). Then I figured while I'm at it mind as while make some other races playable. But if anyone has any requests/and/or/sugjestions just post em and I'll get right at it.

It won't correctly. You need to add a whole bunch of oher stuff like weapon-making and crafting. Sorry to say, but this mod won't work out great.  :-\

like I said first mod I might add all the other stuff eventually but thanks for telling me. Till then adventure mode still works fine and at the very least gobbos can dig :).

An easy way to make it work (I believe it works anyway) is to copy over relevant information fromthe dwarf entity.

I honestly don't think it's worth posting a "mod" that consists of adding 1-3 simple tags to an existing creature or entity definition. That's the sort of thing that can be easily accomplished with very simple and clear instructions without having to download anything, especially since you have to update it for each version and it would be incompatible with other mods that modify the same files.

At any rate, in 0.31.19 you'd also need to modify some other things, since by default goblins no longer need to eat.

G-Flex is right, but don't feel discouraged!

Buy yourself a lot of food, some beer and lock yourself up in a barn with your laptop! Then don't come out for a day or two, and emerge with a cool creation!

P.S. I do not make Genesis like that... almost. I have no barn, everything else applies to me though :D.
