Blinking Ramps

For some reason, upwards slope/ramps are blinking. All of them. There are no items on the ramps to make it do so.

Is there any way to turn off the blink?

Is it designated to be removed? Or perhaps there is a broken bolt on it. Broken bolts can be seen and will cause the blinking, but won't show up as an item.

They were blinking on embark. They are ALL blinking. Every upward ramp.

In init/d_init (not sure which) is the 'varied tiles' thing set to 'NO'? I did that, and when I reloaded my save all my ramps started blinking.

I set VARIED_TILES to NO, and every ramp that has grass is blinking.  My solution?  d->z on all of the ramps, and replaced them with constructed (stone) ramps where necessary.  My embark is fairly flat, this would be a lot more trouble in a mountainous region.

Also, obviously, magma avalanches and tsunamis weren't exactly a contingency covered in the mission briefing.
I can assure you that Ardentdikes is not the first fortress to be flooded with magma. What's unusual is that we actually meant to flood it with magma.

As stated, it seems to only happen when varied ground tiles are off.

There is a bug report filed on the issue.
