"Search for Specific Stone" in Site Finder
« on: February 18, 2011, 01:16:18 am »

This is the fastest and easiest way I can think of to simplify prospecting for a good site in the new version. For a balance between realism and playability it could only be capable of locating, say, the top five stone layers in a biome?

Never used Dwarf Therapist, mods or tilesets in all the years I've been playing.
I think Toady's confusing interface better simulates the experience of a bunch of disorganised drunken dwarves running a fort.

Black Powder Firearms - Superior firepower, realistic manufacturing and rocket launchers!

It used to be that we could see the top 5 layers, but toady removed it, so it's not really something you could add in.
I do admit that it would be nice if we could see what sort of stone it was on the embark screen though (igneous etc.), and it would be nice if we could search for that.

Iv seen people who haven't had a redheaded person in their family for quite a while, and then out of nowhere two out of three of their children have red hair.
What color was the mailman's hair?
