I've totally forgotten...
« on: February 17, 2011, 02:23:37 pm »

Been not playing for a while and totally forgotten how to add... well, any parts, textures, new creatures, anything.

I just can't remember how all the raws peice together. Previously I've made new materials into new textures into parts added to creatures and eventually entire new creatures... can anyone give me a quick runthrough of the way it all goes together again XD

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...
Link for full quote. 'tis mighty funny.

Ok...

I've reached No Tissue Thickness on my test body part now... it's been assigned it's own tissue made of muscle as a material.

It links...

Creature [BODY:...] to body detail plans where the tissue is listed, in the standard tissues and in the vertebrate body layers, then the tissue is there in the tissue files, using muscle as a the material. It definitely has a thickness, so something somewhere is buggered. Is that how you link it?

EDIT: Ok been tracing other body parts, things like Throat.

Throat int he creature body, goes to Throat, with its info, with a category of Throat, and all the related information in the body default, being throats for exoskels and vertebrates, + hair models, + the relsize.

My current test, goes from the body, to it's body info, tot he category, with all the correct info. Changing the category to anything else still results in a No Tissue Thickness error. So somewhere it dies and can't find a path to any tissues. No idea where/why. Help please!
