Clothes/Outfitting - And Weapons i suppose
« on: February 08, 2011, 11:06:22 am »

Out of interest, am i the only person who dresses my character specifically? As in, removes all the default clothing, except that which he wants, and only wears things he likes?
I only wear trousers, a shirt, socks, shoes, a jacket and a cap. Sometimes gloves. Nothing else. Ever.

I also only wield Slicing Knives.

So you deranged sociopaths glorious people, how do you outfit yourself, Clothing wise? And weapon wise if you have a specific item like that.

Veils, hoods and robes.  I think it makes me look sufficiently deranged.  And 2 shields and 2 weapons - one of each in each hand, which is what i feel is roughly the realism limit of the infinite-wield bug/feature.

Imagine a well-known mass murderer with a nice pink flowery scarf wrapped round his face.
I know we can't have scarves, or pink clothing, or flowery clothing, but dammit my imagination likes to pretend we can.

Or maybe I just get excited about interesting-sounding adjectives without thinking about what they mean and you call me out on it   :-[

then maybe you should find yourself a <<headscarf>>

As for me if its <<decorated>> I look at the stuff for dyed color or gem color to match my color dyed and matching colored gem encrusted equipment, I only break from norm if its a better quality item then I am wearing.

I'm pretty sure you can only get kobold-sized armor from other kobolds.

Dwarf seems to be a staple in the diet of Night Creatures and Trolls and suchlike, so if you roll a bunch of lairs you'll probably turn up some equipment that smaller races can use. Unless kobolds are a different size fit, in which case you might wanna do some further editing.

Kobolds are a different size from dwarves.  The main sizes are human, dwarf/elf/goblin, and kobold.
