Truean, I'm gonna have to take the side of Blank here; his posts simply do not come across as offensive*; his second one is rightfully snippy, since you attacked him over his first one, but the first is really nothing to get into a tizzy about.

*to myself blah blah subjective subjective

Reading it again, in the context of you having been offended by them, yeah I can see a bit, but honestly, it's vastly overshadowed by your own response. If you don't like his tone, cherrypick the useful information out.

Conclusion: Blank was offensive.
Rule:  Calling into question someone’s intelligence is offensive.

This post is trolling, or a poor attempt on your part to express your plans to people just to get praise. Either way, fail.

People tried to help you, and all you are doing is attacking people's post. Sad.

Let this thread die.

This thread can either move on topic, get derailed or disappear. I'm hoping for move on topic.

If you'd rather not post don't. If you're not happy here why hang around?

Try not to think about it much if you have no investment capitol. Do you think you would be able to start something up with little to no money? Do you intend to sway investors with student loans hanging around you? It may be worth working under another firm before you can start your own legal service. You also get to see how they run their business, and how they reach out to their customers.

Sounds like you have some appeal. You're going to need some hardcore small business studying if you didn't in college. I'm sure there's a lot more to running a legal service than just the legal service.

Thanks. Can you recommend any books/authors?

I can only recommend going to the library and soaking up free information before buying a book. The internet isn't that great for business information.
