I've got a cyclops on my map, he started in a lair, and I was able to place a floor over him so he can't escape.  He's now loitering in his lair while I tinker with megaprojects.

This opportunity is too good.  What use can I find for a captured, resident cyclops?  First thought, is to make a temple.

Edit the RAWs. [PET] [TRAINABLE] [CAN_LEARN]

Cage him, tame him, make him your ruler. Then stick him back in his hole after flooring it with gold, and building walls of obsidian. Smooth them, and have every inch engraved by a legendary engraver.

Build his temple.

Restore the RAWs to their original state.

Cage traps might not work, even if they normally would, resident megabeasts seem to do that.
