I'd like to see some more!

Same character, less underground.

Oceanside volcano sounds like fun.  It'll take a few world gens in order to get that to work out right though.  Probably gonna have to make it in Perfect World...  Should I make a new thread for the new fort or do you just want to keep it here?

Same char for me as well. But more brewing of gold into drinkable liquids. :D Also, Oceanside volcano? Sounds like a great recipe for obsidian! Hm. Maybe he'll be more interested in making a drinkable magma brew... Only for the stout of heart of course.

Success!  I had to take advantage of a little exploit where any old fortresses count as walkable land in order to connect the island to the mainland so we could have sieges but I got a site with an oceanside volcano!  We have a terrifying ocean biome to our west, the northern half of which has a sedimentary layer meaning bituminous coal, the eastern island is an untamed saltwater marsh, or was it  swamp?  In any case there'll be dinosaurs.  abandoned fort shenanigans mean invaders and trade from other civs.  The only problem is I don't think there is any flux here, we'll have to order it from the mountainhomes.  If no one wants to have the fort run through this thread I'll make a new one tomorrow and get started!

Oh dear, undead dinosuars. I'd rather have live ones as pets and bodyguards. Ah screw it, I love to have some FUN.

Even a kitten can see it. He got sprayed by a monster's bodily fluids, that should be enough diagnosis. There, he has lupus. Happy? He's going to die. Like everyone else. I know it because I'm better than all of you, because I know how to use a goddamn crutch. Where the hell did you put the sunshine?" ಠ_ಠ

This is starting to sound like a perfect place for a B-level horror story. I love it.

Yes, mother ****ing walruses stormed in through my well room, fatally gored my expedition leader, and danced off into the frosty tundra to sing happy walrus songs about oysters.

I don't think we'll have too much to fear from zombie dinos since it's the ocean that's terrifying not the marsh.  Also I started a new thread for the new fort, check it out here
