is this normal?
i have 2 hammer dorfs sparring with a dual weilding pick dorf. she s legendary fighter and then some as well so shes winning the sparring session too. 0.o

ah, seems they break off and on. seems like a bug. sorry i cant get screenys of this. its rather weird.

I've gotten that before, but I've never seen Dwarves dual-wield picks.

thats doable with assign specific weapon. assign 2 picks.
i did it because of an earlyer mix up i had and just liked the arrangement.

So, if you use "specific weapon" when assigning equipment, you can actually make someone dual wield weapons? 

Dual wielding masterwork adamantine battle axes...

yes you can.

it be a bit tricky though, if your legendary weapon smith has produced a fair few.

also: when assigning a squad through assign specific weapon their items, if their all the same with the same quality etc, the game shuffles them around so your not quite sure wich is wich, my advice to combat that: assign from bottom upwards, ie:
6th dorf in squad gets 6th weapon down.
keep cross checking on your dwarfs because some will ahve their weapons unassigned and after a few minutes it should give in and have your squad kitted out.
