Just or Unjust: Deciding Topic Order
« on: February 01, 2011, 10:14:26 pm »

Right, so, some of you might remember the General Polling Thread I started a while back. I figured that I might try to start a similar kind of thread, except on a serious topic. And nothing is more serious business than internet political discussions, so we'll go there.

The idea behind this thread is that a list of various discussible legal and political topics will be created, and I'll switch over to the next item on the list whenever the disscussion on the last one begins to die out. That way, we get a bunch of topics in one thread. Just or Unjust is the name of the thread since the types of things I'm looking for will generally be taken as good because they are just and help society or bad because they are unjust and harm society.

Before getting to any of that, however, we need to make the topic list. Voice the suggestions of the things you want to talk about, and then we'll vote on them. Everyone gets three votes to expend on the topics in the list, and the one that ends up highest goes first. Then the second highest goes second, and so forth.

So, what do you want to talk about?

lordcooper... you made some pretty strong claims on the vegatarianism/veganism thread. You don't get to go back on it now.

We should wait until Nikov gets off his mute, so we can get his perspective, because he represents a viewpoint not often seen on this forum. By waiting it'll enrich us all. And I don't want to be the only conservative.
