Human Merchant Prince Crash

Title says it all.

Fort size : medium (90 dwarfs)
Modifications : none

I started no new industries or workshop jobs in the season the crash occured, only new activity was mining of magnetite cluster. In the season before the crash I recived 16 strong immigration wave with dungeon master. There were no outstanding mandates. Expected elven caravan did not arrive in the spring. There was an "expired" goblin siege in the winter. Last entries in gamelog show arrival of human caravan with a merchant prince, the game crashed before that announcement was shown onscreen and before the caravan was shown on the map. Errorlog did not show any fresh entries.

Reported bugs encountered :
*Goblin teaparty (invading army on different level than fort entrance, never left map edge)
*Second mayor election
*Dwarves going back to fortres after outdors forbidden (with weird addition of ignoring indoor food stockpile placed next to outdoor farm plot)
Other (possible) bugs :
*Making crystal glass vials requires pearlash(?) (i expected some sort of sand requirement, how the hell do you make pearlash anyway?) this makes creation of Alchemists lab impossible.
*Soldiers and guards killing themselves in training with weapons - had 10 strong military + 8 guards after a year 2 guards died of serious lung/chest damage, 1 gone melancholic, 2 other mid/heavily wounded + 4 soldiers with wounds. Atrociously high casaulty rate for a fort that has seen one(!) coguar of threat (and I didn't even manage to reach it before it left the map). All kobolds/goblin snatchers were dispatched by war dogs (no dog injured).
*Game was performing sesonal autosaves despite not having them turned on in init. Thanks to that I do have a save form beginning of the summer the crash occured in.

Crystal glass requiring pearlash is nothing new, though it is a bit convoluted at first. Check this page at the wiki archive for a more complete glass knowledgebase.

Yeah, I've got the same problem. Same wave of immigrants, Dungeon master and crash at the same moment of caravan arrival. It is my best fortress and losing it would be really sad(.

Is there any way to stop that caravan from coming? I would rather not have a human caravan than lose entire fortress...

Dwarven Casualties while sparring are common, but can be lowered by having them all wear decent armor( Chain or higher ).

That is true. I gave my recruits iron plate mails, helms, high boots and shields and silver weapons. In a year or so 8 of 15 became champions (none of them got hurt in process).

So, is that merchant prince bug resolved? It is ruining my second fortress. Should I send my save (~30 sec. before crash)?
